When does Steam have sales?

Steam holds four big seasonal sales each year: the Spring Sale (March), the Summer Sale (late June to early July), the Autumn Sale (late November, around Black Friday) and the Winter Sale (late December to early January). Many games hit their historical low during these events, along with Lunar New Year and themed festivals.

If today's price is far above the low, add the game to your Steam wishlist — Steam emails you when it goes on sale.

FAQ

What does "historical low" mean?

It is the lowest price the game has ever sold for on Steam. When the current price equals the historical low, it is usually a great time to buy.

Why can't some games be found?

Unreleased, free-to-play, delisted or region-locked games may have no price data. DLC and bundle pages are not supported yet.

Which region are the prices for?

Currently the Taiwan Steam store in TWD. Other regions may have different prices and discounts.

Will the historical low come back?

Not guaranteed. Most games repeat similar discounts in seasonal sales, but publishers can change pricing, so treat the result as a guide.
