Steam Price History takes a Steam store URL and shows the game's current price and discount, its all-time lowest price and when it happened, how much more today's price is than that low, and a price history chart. Price data comes from IsThereAnyDeal (ITAD) and currently reflects the Taiwan Steam store (TWD) — handy during sales to decide whether to buy now or wait for the next one.

## How to use the Steam Price History

1. Open the game on the Steam store and copy the URL (e.g. https://store.steampowered.com/app/620/Portal_2/).
2. Paste it above and press "Check price".
3. Compare the current price, the historical low and the difference.
4. "Verdict" tells you whether it is at its lowest; the green dot on the chart marks the all-time low.

## FAQ

### What does "historical low" mean?

It is the lowest price the game has ever sold for on Steam. When the current price equals the historical low, it is usually a great time to buy.

### Why can't some games be found?

Unreleased, free-to-play, delisted or region-locked games may have no price data. DLC and bundle pages are not supported yet.

### Which region are the prices for?

Currently the Taiwan Steam store in TWD. Other regions may have different prices and discounts.

### Will the historical low come back?

Not guaranteed. Most games repeat similar discounts in seasonal sales, but publishers can change pricing, so treat the result as a guide.
