The Image Converter turns many images into WebP, JPG or PNG at once, with adjustable compression quality and maximum width, and shows how much each file shrank. Conversion uses the browser's built-in Canvas, so images are never uploaded — safe for personal photos and company assets.

## How to use the Image Converter

1. Choose the output format (WebP, JPG or PNG) and quality; enter a maximum width to downscale.
2. Drop images into the dashed box or click to choose files (multiple allowed).
3. Each image shows its new size, file size and savings.
4. Download images one by one or press "Download all". Changing options re-converts automatically.

## Specs & key facts

## FAQ

### Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser and works even offline; nothing is kept after you close the page.

### Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG?

Safari on Mac and iPhone can read HEIC and convert it. Chrome and Edge currently cannot read HEIC, so open this page in Safari.

### Why is my PNG bigger than the original?

PNG is lossless, so photos saved as PNG are usually much larger than JPG or WebP. Choose WebP or JPG for photos.

### Is the GPS location kept?

No. Re-encoding through Canvas strips EXIF data, including location and camera model — a quick way to protect privacy before sharing.

### Can it convert animated GIFs?

Only the first frame is converted; animation is not preserved.
